Awarded for his capture of the road bridge, as well as two dam bridges, over the Mosh river. This allowed the bulk of the Division to cross it on the same day, and saved them the trouble of fighting through much stronger hostile defences. And so the very next day the Division was able to continue its pursuit of the Soviets in the Chuguyev area.
